The Big Bash, the Music Note Drop, and planning around it

Nashville New Year’s Eve 2026

Thursday, December 31, 2026 · Updated October 18, 2026

Prices & schedules checked October 18, 2026

Nashville’s official New Year’s Eve party is Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, produced by Music City Inc., the foundation of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. It’s a free outdoor concert ending with a giant red Music Note dropping at midnight, plus fireworks.

Status on October 18, 2026: Visit Music City had not yet announced the 2026 lineup or schedule. Its event pages still show last year’s event and say “Stay tuned for more details on Nashville’s Big Bash 2026.” Everything below marked “2025” describes last year’s event and may change. Check the official page before you plan around it.

The Gold Circle Party (21+)

The paid option is the Gold Circle Party inside the Nashville Farmers’ Market, with a dedicated standing-room stage viewing area, heated indoor space, appetizers, three drink tickets, a midnight Champagne toast and full access to the public site. It’s sold only as a package with at least one hotel night, through Visit Music City’s booking site. On October 18, 2026 the package page listed December 31, 2026 (doors 6 p.m.) but said it was “currently unavailable, please check back soon”, and still showed an older lineup. No price was shown, so we don’t quote one.

Where to stay for New Year’s Eve

The party is downtown and the Music Note drops at midnight, so a downtown hotel you can walk back to saves you the late-night ride home. Book early and check the cancellation policy, the parking charge and the total with fees. We don’t recommend specific hotels; our where-to-stay guide compares the neighborhoods.
