Savannah Trolley Tours Compared: Which One Should You Book?
Prices & schedules checked October 18, 2026
Savannah’s historic district is a grid of leafy squares, and parking in it is tight, so a narrated trolley is an easy way to start. The choice comes down to how you want to use the day: the Old Town Trolley is an all-day hop-on-hop-off pass; Old Savannah Tours runs a single 75-minute nonstop overview; “Savannah for Morons” is a comedy show on wheels.

Our take
Choose the Old Town Trolley if this is your main sightseeing day and you want to get off at Forsyth Park, City Market or River Street and get back on later. The operator says buying at least one day ahead saves up to 15% on its own site, and tickets include a tasting at the Old Savannah Distillery (conditions apply; check the ticket details).
Choose Old Savannah Tours if you want a cheaper, shorter overview first and plan to explore on foot afterwards. It’s a timed seat, so reserve a slot.
Choose “Savannah for Morons” if you’ve done the history tour before or want laughs over landmarks — but read the age rules below. Building a whole day around a trolley? See our first-timer’s one-day itinerary. Between Nov 27 and Dec 30, the Old Town Trolley also runs a holiday lights tour.
