About Tabby Compass
Tabby Compass is an independent visitor guide to tours and experiences in Savannah, Georgia — named for tabby, the oyster-shell concrete used in colonial buildings along the Georgia coast. Our sister guide, Coquina Compass, covers St. Augustine, Florida.
What we do: compare the tours visitors actually book — trolleys, ghost tours, riverboat and dolphin cruises, and seasonal events like the holidays and St. Patrick’s Day — on price, length, departure point and who they suit, so you can choose quickly.
How we work: every guide is researched from operators’ official pages, local event organizers and public booking listings, and lists its sources and the date facts were last checked. Our guides are written with the help of AI tools and then fact-checked against those sources before publishing. We don’t publish invented reviews or pretend to have taken tours we haven’t.
Independence: we’re not affiliated with any tour operator, the City of Savannah, or Visit Savannah. See our affiliate disclosure for how the site is funded.
Images: the night-lights and cemetery scenes are our own illustrations. Photos: Forsyth Park fountain — Carol M.
